Topsoil Products

We specialize in creating the highest quality screened & blended topsoil in the area, along with a comprehensive list of other landscaping dirt to suit your next project.

Brown Topsoil

Screened heavy brown sandy loam topsoil with nothing added is used under sod, for seeding & to fill in around foundations. This topsoil is available year-round.

Blended Topsoil

Soil that’s 30% organic soil screened mixed with 70% brown topsoil is used for gardens and flower beds. It’s lighter in weight than our brown topsoil. This topsoil is available year-round.

Field Run Topsoil

A clear brown topsoil unscreened (just the way it is taken from the field) is great for fill, as a base for screened topsoil & for grading low spots. It may have rocks, sticks, sod, etc.

Top Fill

Rough fill dirt screened from our Brown and Blended Topsoil Products is ideal for backfilling deep holes, like old foundations and swimming pools. It may contain rocks, sticks, sod, etc.

Peat Moss

A fibrous material that forms when moss and other living material decompose in peat bogs. It’s used as an important ingredient in potting soil.

Mudjack Plus™

A proprietary blend of screened brown topsoil, sand and agricultural lime, Mudjack Plus™ repairs concrete to add years of life to patios, driveways, garage floors, sidewalks, etc.

We provide bulk stone for your next landscaping project. Whether you’re looking for a specific type of stone, or need help identifying what works best for you, we’ve got you covered.

Clear Limestone 5/8” to 3/4″

These limestone chips range in size from 5/8” to 3/4″. It is used for decoration around trees (except evergreens), window wells, backfilling, base for basement floors, or as a base for concrete where drainage is needed.

Clear Limestone 3/4″ to 2″

These limestone chips range in size from 3/4″ to 2″. It is used for decoration around trees (except evergreens), window wells, backfilling, leach beds or as a base for new driveways. This type of limestone can be difficult to shovel.

½” Limestone Chips

Limestone chips that vary in size from 1/4″ to 1/2”. It is used for patios, walkways, or driveways if packing is not required.

¼” Traffic Bond

1/4” limestone chips and lime dust is best used as the final layer that brick pavers are laid on. When water is applied, it becomes almost like concrete and creates a very firm base.

½” Traffic Bond

1/2” limestone chips down to dust can be used to top dress or fill in holes in driveways.

¾” Traffic Bond

3/4” limestone chips down to dust can be used to make a temporary driveway or parking area over grass, as a base for concrete, or under asphalt if there is already a base.

1 ½” Traffic Bond

1 ½” limestone down to dust can be used under asphalt if there is no base, over muddy driveways, or for covering culverts.

Washed Stone #1

Varies in size from about 3/8” to 3/4″. Washed stone is decorative, multi-colored, and easier to shovel and handle than limestone chips. It can be used around pools, shrubs, or over a drain tile. It is also ideal for mixing concrete.

Washed Stone #2

Varies in size from about 3/4″ to 1 1/2″, but most are about 1”. It is very good for decorating around shrubs and forming leach beds. Like the #1 Washed Stone, it is easier to shovel than limestone. Colors may vary.

Pea Gravel

Small, decorative stone that varies in size from 1/4” to 3/8”. It is ideal for patios and around shrubs. It is also great for dog kennels, because it is safe for dog paws, and digests well ingested.

Mason Sand

This very fine sand is used for mixing mortar and is ideal for sandboxes. It is also great for the base of a swimming pool and under paving bricks or stones.

Torpedo Sand

This material is courser than mason sand. It’s used for mixing concrete and under patio bricks. It is also good for gardens and sand boxes.

Bank Run Sand

This material is a cost-effective fill material made of sand, dirt, and stone. Erosion resistance makes it ideal in a variety of landscaping, driveway, and road base applications.

Decorative Stone & Boulders

Decorative stone and landscape boulders are available in various colors and shapes. These larger stones & boulders serve as focal points to anchor a landscape plan or as natural seating.

Salt

Ideal for winter snow and ice clearing on both commercial and residential properties, our snow removal salt is available in 50-Lb bags and 1-ton bags.

Natural Wood Chips

100% natural wood chips consist of tree bark and wood. They are better for the environment than other chemical weed prevention materials. Wood chips are exceptionally good at retaining moisture in the soil, moderating temperature and controlling weeds.

Mulch

A type of organic material that is typically made from shredded tree bark or wood chips, which are then dyed brown to give them a more uniform appearance. Ideal for retaining moisture in the soil, moderating temperature and controlling weeds.

Compost

A type of organic matter that is created through the natural decomposition of natural materials such as leaves, grass clippings, other plant-based substances. You can use compost as a soil amendment or fertilizer in gardening and landscaping.
