Marvina Case is an unprecedented individual, with cancer and rape behind her and experience by acquisition and disruptive technologies at her forefront. Marvina leads a life filled with passion and dedication. As the wife of the esteemed Ryan Case and a mother to two young daughters and three adopted adult daughters, Marvina embodies the values of love, compassion, and strength. Her drive for excellence extends to every aspect of her life, making her highly accomplished and motivated.

With a strong background in business management, compassionate turnarounds, and leadership, Marvina has consistently achieved outstanding results at organizations including Dell, Monster, Town of Gilbert, Intel, Allied Singal, Sage, and Limelight Networks. Her exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships have earned her the admiration and trust of both the private and public sectors. Through her revolutionary business transformation program, C.A.K.E., Marvina has had the opportunity to do business in 42 countries and experience life in 24 different places. Whether she’s delivering inspiring keynote speeches or leading impactful workshops, Marvina breaks down the barriers that hold people, processes, and  technology.

Marvina’s commitment to lifelong learning and personal growth has driven her to pursue new challenges and opportunities constantly. She pursued her education at prestigious institutions such as Purdue University, Stanford, IvyTech, and Collin Design School, equipping herself with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive. During her eight- year tenure as a commissioner for the Town of Gilbert, Arizona, Marvina demonstrated her belief in the power of innovation and creativity, always seeking unique solutions to complex problems. She organized and spearheaded impactful programs like Convict to Conviction and led mission trips to Mexico, Ecuador, and Uruguay, creating a positive and lasting impact.

Beyond her professional achievements, Marvina is renowned for her practical, warm, and compassionate nature. She is deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of others and actively participates in various community initiatives, charities, and boards. Her involvement with organizations like UCA, UCA Financial, Woomb, SOLO, and SWAAM showcases her dedication to improving the well-being of individuals and communities. One of the organizations she is actively engaged with is the National Small Business Association (NSBA), which advocates for the interests of small businesses in the United States. Through her membership in the NSBA, Marvina provides invaluable resources, advocacy, and networking opportunities to help small businesses thrive in a rapidly changing business landscape. Additionally, Marvina serves on the Small Business Technology Council (SBTC), where she addresses crucial technology-related concerns such as cybersecurity, data privacy, and e-commerce, providing small businesses with the support, education, and resources they need to navigate the evolving technological landscape and succeed.

Jarrad Turner bio

Jarrad S. Turner

Jarrad Turner Sr. is the proud father of three beautiful children. He was born and raised in Long Island, NY. After graduating high school, Jarrad attended Alabama State University (ASU) in Montgomery, AL. Jarrad graduated from ASU in 1998. In March 2000, he enlisted as a 68W Health Care Specialist in the US Army. He served on active duty for ten years. Jarrad was deployed twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). During his second deployment, he was injured during an attack.

As a result of the attack, he had to be medically evacuated to Lahnsthul, Germany. Due to the severity of his injuries, Jarrad had four shoulder surgeries, two surgeries on his elbow & two surgeries on his jaw. He served two more years after his extensive rehabilitation at Ft. Sam Houston, where he trained soldiers to become medics. Unfortunately, Jarrad could not continue his career in the Army due to the residuals of his injuries. He was medically separated from the Army in 2010 as a Staff Sergeant.

In 2012, Jarrad was admitted to the Shepherd Center SHARE Military Initiative for treatment for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) & other medical issues related to his time in service. After three months of intense comprehensive treatment, he graduated from the SHARE Military Initiative. Once he completed his rehabilitative treatment, he ran with the Shepherd’s Men. As a member of the Shepherd’s Men, he has run from New York, Chicago, Boston, Baltimore & Pennsylvania to Atlanta. In total, each team member has run over 7,000 miles since 2013. The team has raised over 12 million dollars for the program at the Shepherd Center, and the proceeds ensure that no veteran will have to pay for treatment.

He has been improving veterans’ access to quality resources since 2012. He worked for the Atlanta VA Medical Center (VAMC) & the Atlanta VA Regional Office (VARO). In 2018, he opened the doors of The Warrior Alliance (TWA) as the Director of Warrior Engagement. The Warrior Alliance serves veterans throughout the southern region. Currently, The Warrior Alliance has over ten thousand veterans in the organization. Georgia is part of the Veteran Integrated Service Network (VISN) 7. VISN 7 is the fourth largest VISN in America. Currently, Jarrad is working as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to build more collaborative ways to connect the community to service members, veterans & their spouses throughout the southeast. In July 2021, the Atlanta Braves donated a 5,000-square-foot space to serve veterans throughout the southeast.

Jarrad is serving on the Board of Directors at the Shepherd Center. The Shepherd Center is ranked number 8 in Rehabilitation Hospitals by US News & World. In 2023 Secretary of Veterans Affairs Dennis McDonough appointed Jarrad to serve on the Department of Veteran Affairs Disability & Compensation Advisory Board (ACDC). He was also appointed to serve as the Co-Leader for the Georgia Governors Challenge. The Governor’s Challenge is a nationwide suicide prevention program funded by SAMSHA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services). He is a Cobb County Honorary Commanders Association member. In 2019 he completed the Executive Non-Profit Leadership Course at the University of Georgia. In 2022 he completed the Entrepreneurial Leadership Program at Babson College Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship Institute.
